A:
-
The term manual registration refers to a special course selection process after conclusion of the online signup process for a certain course during which the course instructor accepts additional students if the classroom capacity allows it.
-
The manual signup process usually begins on the third day after the end of the course addition and withdrawal period and ends on the fifth day (national holidays excluded).
-
This process depends on the availability of vacant seats in the classrooms and the willingness of instructors to accept additional students.
◎Example 1: A total of 50 students have signed up for Calculus during the regular registration process. Since the classroom has a seating capacity of 70, another 1-20 students can manually sign up for this course.
◎Example 2: A total of 50 students have signed up for Sociology during the regular registration process. Since the classroom has a seating capacity of 50. Since the classroom is already filled to maximum capacity, manual registration is not available.
